Most Intimidating Baseball Player Ever???

Featured Replies

The list can be argued for sure. But I'm gonna have to say that Bob Gibson number 1 is right.

I would s*** my pants if I had to face him.

Oops, forgot Frank Howard.

One Name: CECIL FIEDLER

Randy Johnson, Frank Thomas in his prime, Albert Belle.

Scotty Pods.

Steroids or not anyone who gets intentionally walked as much as Barry Bonds has to probably be the most intimidating ever.

Scotty Pods.

someone on the score yesterday compared him to Jackie Robinson. I think that pods is actually better.

Julian Tavarez...always teetering on the brink of insanity.

How about Jurassic Carl back in the day?

Whoah. Put down the kool aid.

I was thinking this was somehow related to the White Sox since it was in PHT, but I guess not.

The goal of any and all maxxim lists is to get you to say Maxxim list. The worst thing they could do is nail the list correctly and have everyone shrug their shoulders and say, so what?

Elijah Dukes, end of story.

Didnt read through all the posts so if I mentioned some guys named then forgive me.

Andy Petitte, he always gives that blank stare on the mound and looks evil.

Throwin this one out there, how bout Dice K, his mystery pitch has batters dazed and confused as to when it might come or if its even real.

Mark Mcgwire back in the day was.

Big Hurt was.

Arod

Just a few, many more.

I know, I saw that clip on sportscenter over and over, but it gets batters thinking, which makes him intimidating.

I don't actually watch SC especially when they're talking about him so I didn't even know they explained it. There's tons of footage out there of him throwing the 'gyroball' and it's really nothing spectacular, just a hard slider. Any player who does even an ounce of research on the day's pitcher would know this.

No Don Drysdale and no Randy Johnson? This list is for the birds.

No Goose Gossage? I call shenanigans!
