That first pitch was a strike. The others not so much

walks on 5 pitches almost as bad as walks on 4 pitches. lol i can't be any more obvious.

Paul Byrd's not a maximum effort pitcher...everyone's familiar with his stuff, he's always around the plate and he, like Buehrle recently, gives up a lot more hits than innings pitched.
