i see everyones hating on ozzie but what exactly would you have done differently? i know sisco sucks but they are trying to build this kids confidence and see what he can do late in ballgames. maybe they found their answer tonight

Not put Thornton in to let the Royals make the easy PH for a good fastball hitter, for starters.

17 games into the season:

Thornton: 8 games

Masset: 6

Aaaardsma: 9

MMac: 9

Sisco: 9

Jenks: 10

Thats ALOT of appearances already.

A few reasons for that.

The first round through the rotation.

The back 2 back extra inning games.

Every pitcher has had a bad day where the other had to bail them out.

Ozzie.

Why the f*** did people applaud after that?

Sanders is just getting a day off. He's been swinging the bat well this year.

How that did not nail him, I dunno.

kc fans don't have much to cheer for

Add in Jenks and you have what I believe is 4 relievers with previous history of arm problems. I think Masset and Aardsma are the only clean ones, but I could be wrong.

I think Masset had surgery before on his elbow.

The Royals bullpen is so terrible.

How about a bases loaded situation for red hot Paulie?

another walk! C'mon big jim!

Who's starting for KC tomorrow night?

They thought for a moment they were in Fenway and Wrigley.

Now you've got to face Thome, who's been unstoppable when you actually pitch to him, or Konerko, who seems locked in this game and already has two HR's.

Nicely done, Royals relievers.

Gooch rocks in the #2 hole. Ozzie, leave him there, when Prancer comes back, move grindErstad to 7TH, not 2nd.

And the Cubs bullpen is awful also.

There is nothing more annoying than watching a game at either of those places on TV. If a pitch that's three inches off the plate is called a ball, they all boo and piss and moan.

I never gave a s*** about the Olson twins but I'm struggling not to stare at your avy.

Hopefully Ozzie can finally see that. He's hitting so much better there.

I'm hoping the Twins game goes 19 innings and wears out both pitching staffs.

Thank God. No way Fatass Zambrano gets another cheap win.

and I'm facing a flub fan today in fantasy who already had Maine and Dontrelle win tonight. She also had Zambrainless pitching. I have Buehrle :)

Thome with a nice poke through the shift!

QUOTE(danman31 @ Apr 23, 2007 -> 09:12 PM)
Make that 2/2 after a no doubter. I  facing the Royals bullpen. :headbang

I missed Musser coming in and walking Anderson. Musser is a new one to me. Braun's 2 walks in .1 IP makes it 4/4. The White Sox have rocked every Royals reliever.

i love the thome shift! 6-4
