April 24, 200718 yr LOL, I am putting together my camp budget and am trying to figure out how much toilet paper a person uses per week. One roll? 1/2 roll? I know it depends on the food, but, damn I'm googling toilet paper usage stats and not finding sh, I won't go there
April 24, 200718 yr You will be sorry if you do not bring 2 rolls/person/week. Especially after Chili Night.

April 24, 200718 yr QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 24, 2007 -> 04:10 PM) Don't like to eat Crow, huh? I don't even want to get Crow's feet. (think about it.....gravity......eww.....)

April 24, 200718 yr Better to have too much than too little. Much better. Besides, its not like it'll go bad. I'd go with 1.5 or 2 rolls per person. It's probably overkill but it's better than wiping with leaves.
April 24, 200718 yr I say ask them to each bring one for themselves, then you only have to bring one for each member as an extra. If someone uses more than someone else, you're covered then.
April 24, 200718 yr It depends an awful lot on the kind of TP you buy. For example, going with Scott (1000 sheets/roll) is going to get you through a lot more time than going with all your fancy, 2-ply stuff. If I was going with that sort, I would probably go with about 1 roll per person per 5-6 days, with a few backup rolls just to be on the safe side.
April 24, 200718 yr Author Actually we are not backpacking. It's a residence camp on the beach, and we make regular supply trips. http://lagunastation.org/ No worry about running out.
April 25, 200718 yr QUOTE(BobDylan @ Apr 24, 2007 -> 06:43 PM) I've gone through a roll in one wipe before. I devour toilet paper. iPod's, PS3's and now toilet paper. What's next?

Certain types require more wiping.
