That's ridiculous.

Our "bench" hitters are around a combined .150 on the season right now.

That's just not going to get it done.

You'd think at home on a nice night against hittable pitches we'd score some runs.

Maybe "doomed" is the right word.

We are gonna face better pitchers than Weaver w/out Thome.

Why the hell is Cintron batting in front of Uribe?

The alternating Lefty/Right thing...

That's ridiculous.

I think he makes too much money for what his role is. I've been saying it all offseason....I thought he'd be a good candidate to leave in order to open up a roster spot.

We're still just three solo home runs out of this.

Who are we facing in the Seattle series?

Not Felix.

Weaver is pitching well so far. He's making them beat him a single at a time, and we're not a fast team on the basepaths.

It's not an accident he went 9-0 to start his career last year.

This game should be tied 3-3 right now.

Sox aren't helping out Garland. He's given up 3, but Weaver has been hittable to the tune

of three runs by now as well.

Dead bats.

Jeez, did hawk leave or something?

His stuff is nowhere near where it was last year. His fastball is down quite a few mph right now.

Garland hasn't helped himself with that ball hit back up the middle by Aybar. Normally, he prevents those two runs from scoring.

88mph straight fastballs usually allow hitters an opportunity to make contact above the strike zone....

Garland needs to me more perfect now, with almost Felix Diaz arsenal, then he has been in the past.

When will someone in the press question why every Sox pitcher is down in velocity, some drastic?

Jack Egbert

2 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 1 K

:P

The best thing we could do for our roster is call up Sweeney, send down Anderson, and sign Eduardo Perez.

Garland's fastball has about a billion times more movement than Felix Diaz.

Yikes. This is sick. Has Weaver been that good or is it more of the same from our offense?

My gosh our hitters are off tonight. That first pitch to Iguchi ... bam

Strike three, however, was a bullet.

Our guys are not hitting his mistakes. We reek at the plate.

Washburn was been pitching well. That's not good for us.

Man, Boras wasn't kdding about Weaver being ML ready when he was originally drafted.

Look at the up-to-minute batting averages of our lineup:

.244/.246/.212/.203/.236/.216/.220/.056/.246

That might be the worst I've ever seen this late in the season.

Has Weaver been that good or is it more of the same from our offense?

He's been good, but not that good.

Made some good pitches; made some horrific pitches and the Sox still are getting blanked.

We never score in the first, though I am not sure that is because Pods is gone, and we have trouble scoring afterwards because we are trying to play homerun derby. This is not fun to watch.

It's sickening.

I think Erstad is the only one swinging the bat well now....and Jermaine.
