May 5, 200718 yr I think Sweeney is really going to breakout in the next few games. He looked pretty good today. He hit that rocker to deep CF which was unfortunately an out, but he got that nice double down the line. I didn't like his situational hitting in the 2nd however with a runner on 3rd. Luckily Erstad picked him up.

Go Sox, I lost faith in you and couldn't believe you won today. Now get a streak going. I have faith in this team with Thome in the lineup, but without him I think we are going to lose every game.

We didn't GIDP, K or pop up with runners in scoring position of lay down and just give them the final out. The breaks make the difference.
