Danks is showing nasty stuff. Fastball hitting 94 and an 80 mph curve-yikes. This is what I was expecting his arsenal to be like when we traded for him. Danks>>>>McCarthy

Sexy Sweeney is up.

Even when Sweeney records an out he looks damn good doing it.

Did Ryan really come through our minor league system? Hard to believe, a guy with such a good presence at the plate, and GREAT hustle could do that. I mean, look at Brian Anderson and Joe Borchard compared to him. Good ball player already, even this early into his career.

It's just the general maturity of a hitter, and how they add more power. They learn how to turn on that inside fastball. The most impressive swing by Sweeney this year was how he stayed back on the K-Rod curved and lined it down the right field line.
