White Sox vs. A's, 5/23/2007 (L)

4 in a row would be good right about now, as well as a sweep. :gosox1:

A sweep will be the true indicator that this team is turning it around.

we'll have to see if the Sunday line-up is imposed. (although Pablo should be at 3b because Crede won't be ready until the weekend, and having Toby over Gustavo is an upgrade offensively.)

I doubt Hall plays tonight. Tough righty on the mound and the finale of the series is a night game not a day game, plus tomorrow is an off day. Id say AJ plays, but he wont play when we face Kazmir this weekend.

Need as many lefties in our lineup tonight as possible. If Uribe is able to play tonight, then put Cintron at 2nd base. Gaudin made our righty hitters look silly last time.

The sox are 6-12 in their last 18 games where they have a chance to sweep an opponent (going back to May 1st, 2006)

I dont think we're gonna need a ton of runs tonight. Chavez out for the A's again. I think 4 or 5 wins this one. Although I'll take 10 again.

Sox - 6

A's - 2

:bringit :gosox2:

I think you are going to get Cintron at 3B and Uribe at SS. Just a hunch.

Go Sox! Sweep dem A's.

Last night was one of the first games I watched where I could relax a bit early on...will take a few more of those!

Lets win tonight to keep the momentum up, our schedule favors us the next couple of weeks and with DET/CLE playing each other hopefully we can get back on top of the division.

winning this game will be huge especially with the devil rays coming into town. I know devil rays have played us tough in the past but fact is they are a bad team and with a win here would give us some really positive momentum going in.

JUST WIN!!!

i will be in attendance, and i will say sox win 7-4, making it their 4th straight game scoring 7 runs or more. before sunday, april 27 was the last time we scored 7 runs, and from sunday until last night, we have had 3 straight games of 7 runs or more, and im looking for that to continue tonight, with my predicted score of 7-4

Amazing what effect Thome has on the rest of the offense. Let's keep it up!!

1. D Erstad, CF .270 2 21 7

2. T Iguchi, 2B .224 2 8 3

3. J Thome, DH .351 6 15 0

4. J Dye, RF .229 10 25 0

5. P Konerko, 1B .217 6 21 0

6. A Pierzynski, C .254 8 20 0

7. J Uribe, SS .220 5 20 0

8. R Mackowiak, LF .225 1 10 3

9. A Cintron, 3B .191 0 4 0

i like it, plus my boy Juany is back! :gosox1:

The way Jon has been pitching I am thinking our chances for a sweep are good. I'll be listening on XM. I see that ESPN has quickly reverted to the Yankees and Red Sox and Mets network

I like our chances with Welcome Back Kotter at the beginning.

oh god.

Back to back hits to start it off for the A's.

Not off to a good start. With a runner on first base, that's too dramatic of a shift. I wonder how long before Hawk blames Sisco for this.

perfect pitch.

we're in for a tough one with this ump i guess.
