thanks, Royals.

send us a hitter.

Anybody know why Chavez isn't playing again?

considering oakland is without Piazza, Kielty, Kotsay, Bradley, Chavez, Harden and Street, they're playing pretty damn well.

Elbow problems I believe.

The bats will wake up. remember, NOBODY has been hitting this guy.

The Indians put up a 5 spot on him in 4 innings, 2 starts ago. It isnt like he has faced a ton of good hitting teams.

over/under on hawk calling Scutaro a piran-ya again tonite? 3?

trade for Scutaro

Gooch going back on a ball scares me.

You going to a game sometime soon? I believe you owe me a beer.

Ok, its getting wierd how many line drive double plays the Sox have had lately

Another liner at an infielder....Oakland has a ton of those this series.

Actually I am soon, me and some work buddies are gonna catch a train after work in the coming weeks. And I will definitely ante up on that beer

Gaudin's only allowed 5 homers in the last 120 innings or so he's pitched.

haha, i was right

We're having better at-bats so far tonight than we did against him in April. Hopefully we can score some runs against him, but I don't like Garland's chances of keeping the A's to below 3 runs.

LOL, Hawk is pimping Morrisseys column and DJ is just ignoring it and talking about something else

hawk taking a more intelligent approach to bashing mariotti.

praising other writers.

finally getting wise.

niiice.

I was there last night, 1st row behind the A's dugout, awesome.

come on sox, ugh.

This guy's fastball has some late sink on it.

Ozzie really has to move Iguchi back down to the 8 or 9 spot in the order. With Thome back, we can't afford a non-existent #2 hitter.

we better hold them to one because it's tough to see us scoring more than two.

maybe greg walker shouldn't have done that pre-game interview.

The Dye running into stupidity play just makes things worse, considering we are matched up against Johan Guadin.

What did Walker have to say? Was it as entertaining as Cooper saying how good the bullpen is throwing before yesterday's game?

This is the most pitches up in the zone I've seen from Garland in a long time.

This has the feel of the last Royals game where we were going for the sweep.

Here comes the Yaz talk!

The A's teach probably the best strikezone control out of any team.

Boo

You would think with all of the thumpers on our team, that we would take pitches better. I mean if we could see half the pitches that the As see, we would have something.

What a bad throw by Erstad. Just par for the outfield, it seems.

anybody think we're going to score three?
