A valid question that will never be answered. He's forever tainted. To me, he was best P4P talent and I think his resume is probably P4P best ever too. I watched him make some of his quotes from the last time he got popped and saw some of his tweets pertaining to his alleged steroid use and the guy just looks like more of an asshat than possible. He's such a terrible liar too. If I were him I'd be legitimately paranoid because it has to be so hard to keep up with all of the lies and inconsistencies that come out of his mouth.

He's talking to Rogan and says, "I was with a guy and he told me he had some pills and I said, 'I don't do drugs' (this is after he was popped for cocaine) and the guy explained it was just generic cialis and it's a lot of fun." Within five minutes they start talking about gas station dick pills and Jones says he's been using them for a while.

I give him the benefit of the doubt last time around as wasn't his sentence shortened because it was true? I also don't think he meant "I don't do drugs" as in he doesn't take steroids/pills, not "I don't do ANY drugs". All that felt legit to me.

 

This time though? C'mon. He should have been so overly careful, chicken breast and flintstone vitamins. Even if it was a legit accident nobody is going to ever believe him and his MMA career is over. Stupid.

I see the parallel and I don't mean to nitpick but that's unfair to Bonds. Bonds never technically got caught and everybody really was doing it (which is arguable for the first pop with Jones but not the latter). Bonds was a callous guy who the media brought the worst out of. Jones is a horrible guy who the media loved to cover and all he did was cheat, deceive, lie, hurt others, put people in danger and be as incredibly reckless an athlete could be to their career potential without actually killing themselves or getting themselves killed.

 

 

He said "I don't do any drugs" in reference to recreational drugs because he elaborated the guy have cialis and pain killers. He's a liar. He probably forgets what he's actually done and what he tries to misrepresent or what/how he has mischaracterized in the past.

 

His last sentence was shortened because he tested positive for a banned substance that wasn't steroid. It was a hormone blocker that guys use when they get off steroids. He also missed a drug test when USADA surprised him at his training camp. He took pictures on instagram and had his car in the lot when they showed up. He hid under the octagon at Jackson and even pissed on the floor there because USADA waited for hours for him to show up because they had good reason to believe he was there. Chael Sonnen and others have told the story.

The article explains how this time he can't make the tainted supplement claim because this steroid is totally outlawed. Most guys fail due to masking agents or actually tainted supplements. It's more common to get caught getting off steroids than being on steroids. When you get caught cycling off, like Jones did the last time, you can say tainted supplements because there are plenty of items that have hormone blockers, hormone peptides, and other stuff over my head. For instance, Chad Mendes failed for his egzcema cream. I imagine Jones had that excuse with the dick pill ready in the case he ever got caught. I am sure his "pharmacist" had it figured out. Then he gets popped for inadequate disclosure instead of steroids, gets a lesser sentence and can preserve his competitive image. Of course his personal image was already shattered. Now his competitive image is shattered too.

 

 

He doesn't deny drug use - just pills/pain killer stuff and admits to partying/blacking out leading up to fights. He's still a complete idiot and your 2nd theory makes sense, but I could still buy it last time around at least.

After last night, hard to argue that Cormier isn’t the best of all time. He can generate so much power at heavyweight   

 

Lesnar/Cormier is going to make a lot of money. Should be a fun build up. Seems like there’s a lot of respect between the two. 

love how Lesnar slipped through the testing pool because of his "Retirement".   UFC needs to stop rewarding repeat juicers, all they do is let the company down.  Wouldnt be surprised if Lesnar tests hot later this year and it the fight gets delayed/cancelled.  Seems like that is what always happens to DC

After getting away with a slap on the wrist for throwing a dolley at a tour bus, Conor won't be pressing charges against anyone.  Plus, Conor did the same shit after he beat Siver and jumped over the fence and went after Aldo.  

Awesome to see McGregor get absolutely dominated last night. He had nothing to offer and even got dropped. We will see if this is the end for him. He only wants money fights and besides Nate Diaz, those fights will end up the same way. 

 

And McGregor and Dana White started this and Khabib’s people finished it. The two guys who jumped in the cage afterwards should be banned/jailed/etc but this was started with McGregor attacking the bus and injuring people(something the UFC allowed) and the insults of Khabib’s family/religion. In addition, there are a ton of videos online now showing that after Khabib went after Conors trainer, Conor was gonna try to jump in and intervene. Khabibs trainer had the same thought. Conor saw Khabibs trainer on the cage and took a shot at him which caused Lhabibs team to go ham and rush the ring and start swinging at Conor.

 

But Dana will conveniently leave that out. He let things get to this point, now it's on him.
