Not really....it wasn't the typical low fastball that he drops the barrel on. It was more up, but it sounded very good. Made it a few rows up, probably 380 feet.

Crede should patent the lazy popup in general and the popup to the right side more specifically. I've never seen a guy pop it up more than he does, and that goes back to when he first got to the Sox.

I think it's very possible he'll get called up, probably replacing Gonzalez. I'd like to see him get the start against Igawa tomorrow.

That Crede and co to the Yanks for Arod rumor seems easier for Sox fans to digest this year even though I am sure the rumor is a myth.

The thought is to give Crede every third game off. If Fields at least held is own at short there is a chance he could be called up to play a little left or short if needed.
