He went from throwing all of his pitches 3/4 and above to now he is a side armer. He stopped throwing over the top, the minute his sciatica acted up. When he came back from the DL he wasnt the same.

He still throws over the top to lefties and cant hit 92 to save his life. Hes 50 years old, it was just a matter of time.

1. i think it hit him in the back, but it might have been in the arm

2. it was a slow grounder and he booted it, picked it up, and threw a -60 mph throw to konerko, and by that time victorino was already 10 feet beyond 1st base

100% agree. You find anyone to take the contract, you have yourself a good deal. Getting Jose, more importantly, getting Jose's contract off the books, you make your off-season A lot easier.

The frustrating thing about Contreras is that the money could have gone to Buehrle. It will be the moment that KW loses the fans when Buehrle and Garland are gone, and Vazquez and Contreras are in the starting rotation still. Contreras' average fastball has fallen about 6 mph in a little over a year.
