Remember how we didnt want to trade B-mac for Soriano?

We probably would have lost him to free agency if we did trade for him.

Holy s*** Havy, he just made Lee and Ramirez look silly right there. He has some sharp bite on his breaking pitches and about 4-6 inches of movement on his 2-seamer.

QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jun 23, 2007 -> 05:37 PM)
that pitch to Soriano was about 6 inches outside

How far was Soriano's homer?

Did I hear correctly when Hawk said that Soriano has led off the last five games with a home run? Tomorrow should end that streak with a pitch in the ribs.

About 5 feet over the right center field wall, he just got it out.

Oh OK, I'd believe it if it was in a row though.

Rich Hill is worse than Contreras at holding runners.

Podsednik sucks.

Jesus Christ, that's the Scott Podsednik that doesn't suck.

BTW, Andy Gonzalez should still be in Birmingham.

That was almost like manufacturing a run this inning.

Look out Cleveland/Detroit Scott Podsednik is back on the prowl. :o

Very nice job by Thome to make contact against a tough strikeout pitcher in that situation.

So far the Cubs lead by 2 in efficiency of runs scored.

Scott Podsednik, home of the starting lineup's highest average, second highest OBP and third highest slugging.

Podsednik's could just have 2 categories. Games played and games on DL. Should be fun to see how many more of one he has than the other by the end of the season.

Josh Fields is good at baseball.

Well atleast we are hitting balls hard against Hill... better then yesterday.
