January 24, 200818 yr I cant wait to watch this disaster coming on Fox right now. I hope its as entertaining as it can be and they make it sound in the ads.
January 24, 200818 yr I'd never go on. I know that much. I do like the entire concept behind this show, but how slowly everything is moving is excruciating. This most applies to the contestants answering and the woman narrator thereafter giving the answer.

I'll bet.
January 24, 200818 yr QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 08:28 PM) This show is awful What I don't like is how the contestants already been exposed to the questions. It would have been better if they were being judged spontaneously. Even if one were to assume lie-detector tests can be manipulated (which they can), it'd bring much more drama live. January 24, 200818 yr When I saw the commericals, I thought this was the worst idea for a show since temptation island. Trash.

January 24, 200818 yr I think this show can cause some definite marital problems. I would advise not watching it with your wife/girlfriend?
January 24, 200818 yr Host is a die hard cubs fan.... what else could you expect? Controlled is definitely correct... The original Colombian version had been a hit with audiences, but according to an article of the U.S. version, its network, Canal Caracol, had been ordered to pull it off the air when a female contestant was asked "¿Usted ha empleado siempre a alguien para matar a su marido?", meaning, "Have you ever hired someone to kill your husband?" and she answered "yes" to the question. The contestant, Rosa Maria Solano, later walked away with COL$50,000,000 (about US$25,000). On that version, the prize (presumably) was COL$210,000,000. Edited January 24, 200818 yr by qwerty

January 24, 200818 yr More trash TV. Why can't they ever come up with anything decent? Why does it have to be crappy reality shows or game shows?

January 25, 200818 yr I have no problems with trashy tv. I think this show was boring as hell though. So much time between questions. It was just dumb.
January 25, 200818 yr QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jan 24, 2008 -> 04:25 PM) More trash TV. Why can't they ever come up with anything decent? Why does it have to be crappy reality shows or game shows? Not all reality shows recently have been crappy. A lot mainstream ones have but the discovery channel has had some good ones. Last Man Standing, at least for me, was extremely interesting and they have a similar one now that i cant remember the name of thats pretty good. They also have Man vs Wild and Survivorman which are kinda fun to watch. The problem is that the main channels (Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS) market to the masses, and as a result they come up with what they feel will get the attention of the most people. On a side note, i thought Moment of Truth was gonna be interesting and i was planning on watching it but i ended up out of town. Yes the concept was kind of trashy, but it seemed entertaining...sounds like it ended up being kind of blah.
