Still alive..G-reg is fantastic

Olsen got so wide open, that catch looked like he was playing 3/4 speed or something.

3rd and 3 and we are running WR patterns 15 yards down field. How about a slant or some hooks or curls?

IMO, a well placed quick slant is the highest success rate on 3rd and short, especially if they're giving you a cushion. The Rams used to run it all the time with Bruce/Holt/Warner and Bulger.

The Bears are 1 stud WR (and a better O-Line) short of having a pretty dangerous offense. When Olsen is your top receiver, teams can relax on the pass and take away the run. Anquan Boldin would be awesome, with an improved Hester and the TE duo of Olsen and Clark.

Kornheiser is so bad

Kornheiser is so bad

He's worse than bad. You can tell he was waiting all night to say that Blagojevich joke. Either that or he thought of it at halftime and wanted to use it right away.

They need to play Soulja Boy when Hester goes to return a punt, it worked so well before.

Kornheiser is bad, embarassing, a joke, uninformative, etc....Serves no purpose.

That block in the back on Jamar was weak. The guy made the tackle first. You can probably call block in the backs on every kick or punt.

Orton's deep ball is still horrible, no touch whatsoever.

Terrible series for Orton....his footwork in the pocket has sucked lately.

Got to love Orton, underthrows a wide open Hester and than on 3rd down throws it like into a greenbay player.

Hester has an entire highlight reel of fingertip drops this season. Admittedly some of the balls are pretty difficult to catch, like the one tonite, but it just seems like he has a lot of drops that regular wide recievers make.

That makes no sense.

Huh? How could it not make sense? He has no touch on his deep ball, and it sucks. All true.

Well, when referencing a quarterback, usually "touch" means taking a bit off a throw. When talking about deep balls, Orton needs to put more on it, not put touch on it. He underthrows a lot of guys deep. Putting touch on deep balls would be more like lobbing one in or something, which he doesn't need to do. The trajectory is fine, the distance is not.

That's all semantics. What I'm saying his he can get the distance on deep balls, but that's about it.

PULL HIM! Terrible deep ball, terrible footwork, and terrible vision.

Orton is losing this game for us. Atleast when/if we lose we can maybe start Hanie last game of season.

Sigh.

Garza got pancaked on the INT return, that was pretty funny.

And put who in?

And put who in?

No doubt in my mind that Rex is better than Orton right now. If Orton's coming back next year, I can only pray his terrible 2nd half this season is due to the injury.

A) Will this team ever have a good QB?

B) How many good QB's (ones who can throw more than 30 yards) wish they had Hester running deep routes on their team?
