It was his 1st bad outing in a while he had gotten his spring ERA under 5.00 which ,considering the bad start isnt too bad. Dotel's been sucking much worse lately. Sox go uneventfully in 8th against Robinson Tejeda. Hall and Anderson K while Ozuna PH'ing for Royce Huffman grounds out.

With a vet, I'm willing to tolerate it. He'll turn it around. He knows what he needs to do at this point.

His OPS hasnt been awful. He should rebound, although im not sure the lead off spot is where he should be. I dont think he's comfortable with it.

His BA is down to .230 . Sox go 1-2-3 in the 9th. Carrasco n to pitch the 9th.

I just looked through the box scores. Since the off day on March 13, Swisher is 4-40 (.100), with 8 walks.

 

Sox win, but I think Carrasco hurt his knee on the final play of the game.

Carrasco give up a walk then a lineout DP , gets save, Sox win 5-4. Anyone seriously think Carrasco is in the mix for a BP slot ?

I think they already assigned him to Charlotte... but I'd feel more comfortable with him than MacDougal or Masset.
