The Office (Official Thread)

So the new episode was tonight.

Any initial thoughts?

I thought it was very solid personally.

Tour of Michaels house was great, small TV and Jans office space, just great how she controls Michael lol. Especially enjoyed when Jim got a pretend call about a flood to try to leave the dinner party and he left Pam out to dry and she got him back.

Favortie line:

Jan: In Spain people eat at midnight (in reply to Jim asking when dinner is)

Michael: When in Rome.

I can't figure out what it is, but Pam just seems to have lost a lot of her hotness.

The episode was just classic. It was one of the funniest ones of all time outside of the Christmas episodes.

Great, great episode.

The only part I really didn't like was Michael sleeping on that thing at the end of the bed. Seemed over-the-top in an already great scene (with the video camera).

Rent "Walk The Line: The Dewey Cox Story" that should reignite that flame

The hairdo leaves alot to be desired, but that's just me.

Good episode last night, so akward, almost curb your enthusiasm like.

thought her face looked a little rounder...it could have been her hair...I dunno...

meh it's all good....great episode though..

They did a good job of hiding Angela's (or the actor who plays her) pregnancy. I'm glad they didn't try to write it into the show somehow.

i figured it out. she was never that hot to begin with IMO

i thought the episode was very average...i dislike how this newest season has placed the show in a new setting in each episode...dwights beet farm, outside running the 5k, at the beach, michael in the wilderness, what actually happened to the office? There was alot of uncomftorablness in the episode (which is very curb like as someone said) but unlike curb, alot of times it was way over the top and too unbelievable (like the thing michael sleeps on). I thought the best part of the episode was either the video camera, or when Dwight showed up and was like, "so can i come in."

Certainly i enjoyed it, but i didnt think it was of the quality ive come to expect with the office

I agree completely. I know they want to make people feel uncomfortable, but there's no subtlety about it anymore. By the end of the episode I feel bad for watching.

Agree with both you. I just don't like Jan. I don't think she brings much to the show and it seems like she will be a big portion of it for the next few episodes, which I disagree with. PAM is the epitome of cute, IMO. Not hot, but the girl you want to bring home to momma. I really like Andy for whatever reason, I know some people think he is a waste on the show, but I love him. JUST LESS JAN PLEASE!!!

i love andy, i think hes absolutely hysterical...

no comments from yesterday?

I really enjoyed it.

Nice to be back in the office

Yeah, great episode overall. Thought they made Michael just a little too mean to the land lady, though.

I disagree. I thought it was perfect. Michael being mean to her was mostly Michael not even meaning to mean, its just the way he delivers thoughts that it comes out that way. I thought it was a good episode. I think the Jim buying a ring for Pam might be a little quick though.

dear jim halpert and pam beasely....Friends called, they want their show back

i dont know maybe i need to rewatch it, but this was the second straight episode that i thought was very meh...the funniest part was when the person at starbucks kept calling michaels name...i dont know, i know jim and pam are written for the female audiences but their whole love fest thing detracts from the show IMO. While i think kevin is funny, i thought he was a bit too ridiculous yesterday and it seemed like his "kevin voice" was a bit too pronounced and a little out there.

I'll be honest, I forgot it was on because of the Sox game.

I agree with a lot of this. I hate the episodes where they aren't in an office setting. If its during the work day or something, or they all are hanging out at Poor Richard's, then its alright, but its called The Office, keep it there.

Also, Kev is hilarious, but I miss the Kev voice. Hopefully it'll be back soon . . . Can't wait for tonights episode!

DID I STUTTER

This season has been a Steve Carrell overload,I would be happy with far less of him on the show. And I like him.

I really wish we could have really seen a lot with Dwight and Andy and the SUV. Dwight's negotiation tactics were absolutely hilarious.
