The extension was a mistake. I still don't see Jose finishing the season with us....at least not on the active roster.

Most people should really see that coming with just about every Contreras start....that sidearm delivery BS isn't gonna fool hitters for long, maybe once through, then its going to get lifted and launched.

Considering Contreras has the ability to decline a trip to the minors, the only other option would be to DL him.

Why is he stubborn? I think he just doesn't have the stuff he used to. His forkball used to be one of the best pitches in baseball....now he can't get Clete Thomas to chase it.
