Yeah, Oz handled that just right - keep him in with the no hitter, but he's over 100 pitches, so as soon as he cracks, take him out.

I think it was just obligatory... even if he had to go to 120 pitches to get it.

Good job Linebrink!

Nice DP Linebrink!

Please, can we get a run or two??

Well, we got it into Bobby's hands. That's pretty much all we can do.

So whats the reason Gavin did so well today? Granderson out? The rain? Night game/day game? Pratt, DA, anything?????

Personally, I thought Floyd didn't have good stuff or command the first time through. We made some good defensive plays, and he settled down. He ended up being effectively wild, and I loved that change up he started throwing.

Linebrink making a lot of us *raises hand* look really dumb thusfar. He's not only pitching well, but his stuff looks pretty good.

Why don't you post more? Even if I disagree, at least it's informative.

Oh man gameday just showed a vid of the end of Floyd's no hit bid, and DAMN does the weather look awful there.

another run would be nice...

Lets get Floyd the W!

he's actually a pretty good pitcher?

Some strange winds today, even by The Cell's lofty standards in that department.

And where would you be? what kind of weather do you have?

i've only been listening to the game, but it CAN'T be worse than yesterday. I was there, it was brutal.

Not everyone on this board is in Chicago.

Not everyone on this board is in Chicago.

obviously, but half of this country has crap weather right now so he must be in the sun belt somewhere.

I hate Jock Jones, silly Frenchman.

Oh no, that's extremely dangerous. Thankfully he seems ok. Do some damage Thome.

I'm in the sunny bastion of terrible air in the grand central valley of California. Fresno, that is. I think it's supposed to be like 88 degrees today or tomorrow. I wish I could borrow some of that Chicago wind to clean this air so i could breathe.

Man it is one scary sight to see a player get hit in the head. I am amazed more people weren't killed by pitches in the pre-helmet days. Cabrera appears to be ok fortunately.

Ive been watching this game since the 5th inning and I didnt even know Miguel Cabrera was playing 1st wow I am hungover

Yeesh. That could have been a lot worse.

Come on Thome, make him pay!

Class move by Pudge telling the ump it hit his bat instead.
