Probably just people who think he deserves two statues.

:lolhitting :notworthy :notworthy

I'll never forget his walk off shot against Mr. Six Fingers Alfonseca in 2003.

So awesome....

Can you make it a three headed statue with Royce Clayton and Juan Uribe?

depends, is it possible to make a statue of his Mickey Mouse-like voice?

He should get one for helping get Navarro off this team.

Love to see him in bronze sporting the mocking "Sammy Sosa kissing" episode in the Cubs dugout! Now that was classic!!!

This thread just emits a HUGE LOL from me. WOW.

I think a banner in the outfield with an artist's rendition of his mustache would be more appropriate.

Hell No!

Why don't we build a Jose Valentin statue and tell everyone it's a Freddie Mercury statue?

One statue for him, one for the mustache.

one of my favorite players of all time, but i gotta go with a big no. sick left handed bat, right side not so much

lol this is a great thread. Honestly I'd put him on the decades 25 man roster though as of now.

Shame on the people who voted no. Big Frank never ran the bases like Jose.

Frank Thomas also never grew the stache nor did he blow kisses to the camera like Jose either.

I still miss him to this day.

With all the other players that have come and gone?

Carlos Lee

Scott Podsednik

Nick Swisher

Magglio Ordonez

Jermain Dye

Frank Thomas

Jim Thome

Paul Konerko

Joe Crede

Orlando Cabrera

Ray Durham

AJ Pierzynski

Sandy Alomar

Tadahito Iguchi

Crap maybe I would take him as a backup short stop. Its either him or uribe and since I took cabrera it has to be Jose. That's just f***ing sad.

How about they mow his stache into the outfield grass?

Yes...they should have a statue of his stache at the stadium.
