You knew as soon as Neshek came in, that our guys had no chance. They were lulled asleep by that windup motion, and just waving away at pitches.

We nailed Neshek last time out IIRC.

This started with the As series. We had a period of good hitting, batting hitting day. Then we had were the starter would shut us down and we would beat up on the mop up guy to make it respectable. Now its just a complete mess where we cant hit at all.

After 2 1/2 years of offensive struggles, maybe it's not just Greg Walker? Maybe we just have poor offensive talent.

We just dont win with Hall in the lineup

So like I said, you aren't seeing it, so you haven't a clue as to what is happening.

The Sox are losing because they aren't hitting well, and what they are hitting isn't falling.

Seperately, the Sox have also been the victim of some bad calls.

Who the hell is whining, other than you earlier in the thread predicting STRANDED!!!!11!111!!!!!! before they got a hit and tied the game.

Yep, I did do that, and I also posted how happy I was to be wrong...which you convinenently left out to make your point.

However, since I did say that, you're point is thus rendered invalid.

And again...I'll say it another time. I don't need to see this game to argue with you about the umpires. It's not just today, it's EVERY DAY fans of our team and announcers for our team are yelling about bad calls.

I'll say it once again.

Good teams overcome bad calls.

:P

We face 4 tough righties in Toronto, and thanks to our brilliant decision to only have 3 lefties on the whole roster, it's going to be a low scoring weekend likely.

Unless Owens is called up and Richar miraculously heals and becomes a MLB-caliber leadoff guy overnight I don't see how anything can be done any differently.

You mean the Hall that has one of the few Sox hits?

Most of the lineup, aside from CQ and maybe Crede, are looking terrible the last few games. Its not just a Hall problem.

O-Cab and Thome are showing signs of coming out of their slumps though, hopefully that happens.

Nice inning by Dotel.

well, I'll take the positive spin for the month, because I need to put a positive thought in my head about this team after the offensive output the last 3 days...

I remember seeing the schedule and seeing how ridiculous the schedule was for April and May. If they can't get to Nathan they'll be above .500 and 1 1/2 games in front for 1st with very good SP

is konerko healthy enough to PH for juan?

Sox are 2-3 with him in there. Could be 3-3 if they can muster up some runs this inning.

This will be a quick inning were 0 for the Century against Nathan but have hit a nice assortment of foul balls

I'd rather have AJ bat first, and then let PK bat if someone gets on.

I would guess no since if he was available he should have hit for Hall earlier or for Thome when they brought in their LH specialist

If I had to choose between a very good offense and mediocre-to-bad SP and vice versa, I'm going with the good SP and weak offense, that's usually easier for a franchise to fix.

but Ozzie said the PK injury was something that has bothered him since HS

2-7 when scoring 3 runs or less

12-4 when score more than 3 runs

This team is resorting to 2007 as the days pass.

Time to get to Nathan!!

I wish Farmer weren't so excitable.

nathan gonna make BA look silly right here.

edit: BA owned me! come on AJ.

Edited by joesaiditstrue

Crede was 4-9 career against Nathan. Now 4-10.

Positive thought: We're still in first place.......which doesn't make me feel THAT much better.

Come on, BA.

BA goin yard!

There we go BA
