I was kidding on Anderson's homer being cheap. You don't see many no doubters to center field here. Funny moment there with Anderson trash talking CQ that his homer went farther.

Oh I knew you were joking, I was going to write that but I was trying to hurry the post when I saw CQ hit the HR and I forgot.

Am I the only one who enjoys watching the Sox games more when Anderson plays than when he doesn't? It will be fun if he can become an everyday starter with CQ and Fields in the lineup also.

Did you seriously ask that with me in the thread tonight? ;)

Wow, that was a great catch by CQ. And who's the poster with all of Hawk's sayings in his sig? He needs to update with the new saying "he's all-state in two states".

Nice running grab by CQ in the LF corner.

I agree with Hawk, Clement looks very good at the plate.

K on the changeup. 3 gone. Time to mash again.

Javy's going to mow these chumps down.

BA @ Safeco: .227/.292/1.110

Yes, that's a .818 slugging mark.

No more pink for Swish?

Nice hit for swish

Holy poop.

With Swisher, Toby, and Anderson in the lineup, this is our trouble maker lineup.

Oh Joe wtf were you doing there. At least Swisher got from 1st to 3rd though.

I liked the play. Good agressive baserunning. The odds are the tag will be attempted at third with an accurate throw. The throw was offline a bit and that worked to the Mariners advantage.

Plus, with a 6 run lead, you can do things like that.

I have no problem with that....they needed a perfect throw to get him. I'd rather see them try and take the extra base than play not to lose.

Fun stat, not Sox related....Lance Berkman is 19 for last 25.

Yeah I saw the replay, it was actually heads up. If it was somebody like CQ or Anderson it wouldn't have been that close.

Was Hawk just discussing canine psychology?

Beltre goes yard. Yawn.

At least it was a solo homer. 6-1 Sox lead.

that was a bad play for the Mariners.

When did Dye decide to become not as bad to watch?

Nice to see Swish get another hit.
