Apparently Jose Contreras has a sore back and may be moved back in the rotation if there is no improvement by tomorrow.

Exercise regimen is needed and he'll be fine. Plus we have Monday off which is good even if they did give him some extra rest

A lot of thought was that last year he threw sidearm so much because the over the top motion hurts his back now. This year, he is throwing A LOT more over the top, and the back hurts. I just hope that's a coincidence, and that he'll be fine soon. If he needs to miss some time, we just better hope Lance can do the job.

Please move him, I am going to the games Tuesday and Sunday and I don't want to see Contreras get blown up twice. Move him back a couple of starts or bring Lance up for two starts so Jose can get back to his now form. I have faith that Lance can be serviceable even against the Tribe and Angels.

I'd love to see Lance get a spot start.

 

He last pitched on the 15th, so it works from a timing perspective.

 

Give Lance a start and have Masset loosened up just in case.
