Get your moneys worth, Joe.

Uh...that was way outside. Crede tossed.

Getting tossed in a close game is not a smart move. Now we drop our defense down quite a bit at 3rd.

grab a glove pabber

God that was bs.

I was thinking the same thing....but who knows with Crede's defense anymore. I will say this...if the Sox lose, I think the called 3rd on Crede in the 2nd inning was the turning point.

he called both pitches 4 inches off hte plate....joe had a legit gripe...simply one of the worst ball stirke jobs ive ever seen in those two ABs

I agree with Hawk. Looks like a 30 inch plate to me.

Does it? ;)

The ump is obviously a Josh Fields fan

The fact he screwed us on the 1-2 pitch to Sizemore is what really hurts.

Does Swisher have any power from the right side?

This ump has his head firmly up his ass. He's giving Sabathia 2-4 inches on each side of the plate on some calls and not giving Contreras balls that nick the corners.

What's worse is that he called closer ones balls. Crede has had it the worst, but the ump has been bad on the corners to a lot of batters tonight.

Typically, in the last 3 years, Swish has slugged about 40 points lower from the right hand side, but has also had about 55 more points of OBP from that side.

The last time we saw this kind of umpiring was...against the Indians.

Ugh, Indians threatening to tie the game up.

Do any other broadcasters whine about the umpires as much as these guys?

Probably not, but this time it's actually justified.

These run downs are comical, but at least they got the out.

That's our first break of the game. Clevalnd's had about 5.

yeah for sure....broadcasters would be doing a poor job if they did not complain about those calls...they were missed calls plain and simple
