Enjoy the 8th seed (lack of) stones!

The Bulls will finish the season at least at .500.

Sick finish on that 3-pt play by Rose. I have no idea how Gordon didn't get an and 1 himself though. Whatever, great win. Huge win. Avoid the Cavs, now let's avoid the Celts.

I am loving this. Rose starting to show some emotion finally haha. I wouldn't wanna play this team in the playoffs, not saying they will win a series but they are dangerous.

The way they're playing at home, they've totally got a shot to take anyone to 7.

Rose and Gordon are an unstoppable tandem down the stretch.

DRose is the man.

also... please bring back BG7

Rose took over. I mean, WOW! Both sides too! Nice 3pt play and HUGE block on Stuckey!

but.....

Give me Boston with KG's unknown health status over Orlando any day.

The Bulls werent getting any calls all night long, the Pistons were hacking on every play. It was a really hard fought win, and it wasnt pretty, but it doesnt need to be pretty on the road.

Orlando isn't exactly healthly. Rashard Lewis has a knee injury, Hedo Turkoglu is battling a sprained ankle.

And they're in a slump, having lost 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5 with tonight's loss to Milwaukee.

I definitely want the Magic.

I think Boston is faking the severity of KG's injury. He's got a lot of miles on him, so giving him time off will give him prime him for a stretch run.

Man I love me some Derrick Rose, very nice win tonight. Have to win that finale and hope Philly loses one so you get the 6th seed and Orlando.

Good points, you sold me! Bring on the Magic!

Lebron wrapped up the MVP tonight.

Only Hedo's injury is something that might be of concern b/c no one knows how serious the injury really is. Lewis would be playing if this was the playoffs. I dont think the Bulls can win here either.

When wins are on the line, Rose has shown the ability to be a leader and take over. It was awesome watching him explode on that and-1 and scream like that. He's a competitor. I think it's starting to set in to him how good he can be and the potential he has. The playoffs will bring the best out of Derrick Rose. I can't wait to see this kid (he's the same age as me, effin a) develop.

X-Rays came back negative on Sunday, prob won't play til the playoffs I would say.

I'd much rather face Chicago than Detroit as a Magic fan though. I don't think Noah and Miller can handle Howard down low.

I will go on record to say if you guys have no perimeter game in the Playoffs the Bulls will win in 6. Howard will have fits with Noah and a Lurking Tyrus, which I imagine would be the game plan to slow down Howard.

However, if you guys play well through the injuries and are not 1 dimensional, you guys will win in 5.

His line vs. the Bulls this year is right in line with his season averages.

read the post over. I was talking as if Hedo and Lewis are not close to 100%.

I guess I can buy that.

If their perimeter threats are healthy, it will come down to picking our poison. Which is a very scary thought.

Even if we don't shoot well from the perimeter, I still think we win, because we're one of the better defensive teams in the NBA (although nobody would actually think that).

Howard's averaging 19.5/12.5 shooting 63.8% from the field against the Bulls in his 4 games so far this season. I don't think Noah's going to give him any problems, but JMO.

Howard will have problems with Noah if he has to worry about a lurking Tyrus. If your perimeter game is lacking, you better believe Tyrus will stay close to the paint. Nate may be able to jump over Dwight, but Tyrus can too and he's a foot taller than Nate. ;)

I don't think Noah or Thomas are enough yet to give Howard all that much trouble on either end, unless they draw him in to some silly fouls with their speed which they did in the last game the 2 teams played. Either way, I think esp. Noah needs to add some additional muscle this summer before he can really hold his ground against a guy like Howard.

The best way for the Bulls to neutralize Howard is going to be Rose and Gordon driving the basket hard and finding a way to get Howard to hack them. Their big guys just aren't at Howard's level. Miller can maybe slow him down for a while just by being the annoying bigger veteran, and Gray might be useful just because of his sheer mass and ability to foul 6 more times.

If the Bulls actually want to win the series, then 1 specific thing needs to happen...their outside shooters need to get red hot for at least 1 game in Orlando. The way the Bulls are playing at home, I can see them holding home court, but they win on the road against good teams only when their outside guys get ridiculously hot.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the last time they played Hedo sat out, Lewis was 0-9 from the field, and Dwight was still 6-7 from the floor in his 22 minutes in a 28-point win...

The theory that anyone on the Bulls can stop Dwight just isn't particularly valid, their only saving grace is he seems to get fewer attempts against the Bulls. Their only real hope is that the Bulls' perimeter players out-duel the Magic's perimeter players, which may not be far-fetched given the play of the former of late and the injury issues for the latter.
