Time to suck it up Sox fans and hope we can pull one out tomorrow (not likely IMO).

I HATE Ron Santo with a passion.

 

I have to go to a wedding now (at least she's a Sox fan). Everyone, try not to kill yourself tonight. We're still in first place, and we only have to play at Wrigley one more time this season.. For the rest of the game, not everyone that strikes out should be released or sent down, and if a pitcher allows a run, it's ok.

Detroit still scares me. They have won 8 of their last 10, and are only 7 games out (6 if we lose and they win tonight), and they still have plenty of time to catch up.

This reminds me of a game last year where David Aaardsma just sucked it up and we lost big time after we had a lead.

 

Aardsma's actually been good this season...too bad we couldn't at least kept him in the minors.

 

Amazing what beating up on the Royals and Pirates will do for a team. Can we get them up on the schedule again again really soon?

Cubs fans don't, that's the best part about it.

Detroit still scares me. They have won 8 of their last 10, and are only 7 games out (6 if we lose and they win tonight), and they still have plenty of time to catch up.

 

If we keep playing like this, the entire party outside of the Royals will be all bunched up at the top. Those teams have a lot more minor league bullets to spin that our team.
