LOL, looks like they were overloaded with traffic (503 error).

But, yeah, I'm not convinced conservapedia isn't another Landover Baptist.

edit: replace religion with ideology here

That has to be fake / parody.

First Example - Liberal Falsehood

The earliest, most authentic manuscripts lack this verse set forth at Luke 23:34:

Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

Is this a liberal corruption of the original? This does not appear in any other Gospel, and the simple fact is that some of the persecutors of Jesus did know what they were doing. This quotation is a favorite of liberals but should not appear in a conservative Bible.

If you look at the context of the verse, it's very clear that Jesus is saying that the people persecuting him do not know that they are killing the son of God. This "conservationism" makes it sound like they didnt know they were killing a man. They knew they were, they just thought he was a heretic.

If these were true biblical scholars, they'd go back and look at the Greek and Hebrew and translate from there rather than try and replace "socialist" words with "conservative" words.

I wonder if they'll scrub out the part where Jesus says to follow your government.

Netflix has complete seasons of The IT Crowd, well worth the instant watch. :lolhitting

Read a good article about Dick Gephardt in this week's Nation. Talks about what a complete sell out he is with all the lobbying he's doing for coal, big pharm, etc. And they wonder why people are cynical when it comes to politics.

Here's the online article.

The whole concept of conservapedia is just odd to me. The internet is a free, open, unlimited, mostly unrestricted exchange of information and it's too inherently liberally biased to be trusted? lol.

I guess HIPPA laws are optional there.

Since it doesn't ask for any personal (ID) info, it may skate by. But I'm not a fan.

Best HuffPo reader comment regarding this news:

According to Pat Robertson, this may be the first step in winning their long battle with tornadoes.

We had that discussion a while back about how that crowd in D.C. couldn't possibly only be 75,000 people. The estimate for this one is somewhere in the range of 150,000 people. It looks like an awful lot. Which I think suggests pretty well how hard it is to judge the size of a crowd from a limited image.
