Good thing we brought him in.

After Hamilton hits, it'll be 10-0. :headbang

It would be a step closer to me keeping my soxtalk membership after the season!

Hamilton is going to break the record for RBI in the 1st half following this series.

Check that. He's seen 3 pitches in 3 AB's.

I thought to myself before the game- "If we get the piss beat out of us, at least I can watch my boy Hamilton hit/play".

Well, I'm not even getting that. He's DHing and he's swung at 3 pitches.

10 starts passed a while ago. ;)

In other good news on the night, Minnesota is leading 3-1 on Detroit in the 7th.

Yep, have to get that ERA up to 5. Where's 29andpoplar been?

Maybe Mendoza sitting on the bench for an hour will affect him

Wow AJ. Way to force the D to make a play. Go for 3 you f***, don't walk into 2nd with an easy double. Way to hot dog it.

At least you saved me a post with that one.

Way to go, Q. :gosox3:

Two hard hit balls to start the inning. Carrasco retiring Hamilton was a very big play in this game.

q with the quick bat

Did DJ just say that was hit hard? :bang

BTW- I just found out that Saltalamacchia is married to one of his high school teachers.

EDIT- Somebody already posted that earlier.

And if he pulls a hammy trying to push it in a 6-0 game you freak out because he was trying too hit a 7 run inside the park homer

:lolhitting

Just got back from playing some PS3. How the hell did Floyd walk 7 in less than 3 IP? Did he get posessed by Dontrelle?

Nice throw by Boggs...maybe DJ will shut up that we should be trying to move runners over when down 6 runs.

A slide would of been nice.

Nice slide. Uhhhh....where's our on deck hitter telling him to get down? God I'm really starting to hate this guy.

He would have been out by a mile. I have a bigger issue with Dye's weak pop ups tonight on 3-1 pitches.

Q doubles in AJ. You know driving in a guy on 2nd with 0 outs 2 times in one inning would be too much to ask for.

If he runs hard at all, he gets a triple. And I'd argue relatively easily. He slow jogged it for 150 feet and walked it in the last 30.

He was behind the plate doing his job.
