I love how easy it is to remember every error Crede has, but forget how many plays he makes that nobody else does at 3b.

What plays are these? Every 3rd baseman makes diving stops during the season. His defense has been pathetic this season, end of story.

I agree completely with this. It's getting to the point where his defense is costing us more than his offense is helping.

He's pretty much a plotting, power hitting designated hitter at this point minus the walks you normally get from such players of course. He'll likely go into the All-Star break with a .790 OPS and 17 or 18 errors.

He homered last night, IIRC.

So did Josh Fields ;)

wonder how many runs have ended up scoring b/c of his errors this season.

AJP had to leave the game with his ankle injury. We won't see him again until Friday. Enjoy the rest AJP!

Michael young = overrated and inflated hit count.

$16M a year for a mediocre baseball player. But he gets 200+ hits every year so he's beloved by the stupid.

Ichiro also

Fine, he is the worst 3b in the league i suppose.

Until someone shows me a list of how many runs he has saved vs. cost, its all BS. There's no stat for "saving runs" and if you honestly can't remember any plays he has made that very few 3b make, then you can't really argue anything.

Swing the freaking bat. 5 guys left in scoring position already tonight.

Ichiro also

At least Ichiro can play some defense, steal a few bases and make your franchise some money. Michael Young hits singles and that's about it.

Jorge Cantu has been the worst defense 3rd baseman. After that, I'd have to say Crede is in the running.

I love Joe as much as the next guy but watching Alex Gordon the series vs Kansat City make me realize his D is slightly overrated.

good old OBP no batting average players like swish. worthless with runners on

Considering he plays about once a week, Hall has quietly gone back to his typical empty batting average. .275 BA, .324 OBP, .687 OPS and now dropping after the K.

That pitch was a foot outside.

It was the first close pitch since the Thome pitches that went our way.

I completely forgot about that ridiculous extension. Makes me wonder if Boras will be able to get a big deal for the newest Ranger hype machine, Josh Hamilton.

I understand your point, but it wasn't close. It was literally a foot outside. Ump should have waited if he wanted to make up for his stupidity.

I just turned the game on, can somebody tell me what happened to AJ?
