Not many are arguing that a move would be nice. Creating a realistic scenario is much harder to accomplish. With some of the bloated salaries on the payroll, along with a thin minor league system, Williams is pretty hamstrung with anything to do.

 

It's pretty much sink or swim from here on out with the club we have. Lets hope they swim.They have all season.

 

I am at the point where I would rather have Anderson out in CF everyday with Swish playing first, understanding that Anderson wont hit but will provide great defense for us instead of waiting for konerko to come out of it.

So Reed Johnson has one of the most illegal slides you'll ever see, and there's no interference call. He didn't even slide until past the base, and he hit Weeks well above the knees. I hate that steroid bastard.

Whomever decided to impose the early attack model against Slowley needs to be hired by the Twinks. Slowley is not a strikeout pitcher, you dont need to get to him early for fear of getting 2 strikes.

He also doesn't walk people, and generally throws strikes early. So instead of attacking, we will have Fields, Ramirez, Thome and Pierzynski swinging with two strikes, which always ends poorly.

The Cubs should be glad they're facing Sabathia instead of Slowey. Then they really would have been in trouble.

I didn't notice anything bad about the slide. I did notice Weeks cringing like a girl before short arming the throw.

Maybe Masset will give up 5 runs and finally convince KW that he shouldn't be in the majors.
