Griffey would have got that one.

Wasserman go away, his trick is not tricky anymore

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2008 -> 08:54 PM)
Why didn't the White Sox go after Chad Bradford?

We got Griffey. We're all set.

i just can't believe that wasserman is even in the bigs

QUOTE (tommy @ Aug 8, 2008 -> 02:54 AM)
Wasserman isn't as bad as his ERA suggest (watch him throw a meatball and shut me up)

His command and movement absolutely sucks this year compared to last year. KW needs to find us another bullpen arm.

Thats why a pinch runner like Wise was important because he would've scored without a play. Damn it Maggs.

It's mute now.

coxy gets my star of the day award.

the general rule, as a third base coach for the white sox is, never ever ever ever ever ever ever send thome, konerko or griffey if you have to think about it at all

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Aug 7, 2008 -> 08:55 PM)
how has he been doing?

By the looks of his stats not very good....but man Wass drives me crazy.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 7, 2008 -> 09:56 PM)
Ramirez has the fastest hands on this team...it's not even close. He knows how to make adjustments from pitch to pitch better than most of our MLB veterans...which is pretty amazing, considering the lower level of competition in Cuba (more or less A ball).

Plus he's up in the front of the box. Takes some of the break off breaking balls.

I really hope Wasserman is the one sent down when Contreras comes back, he is definitely the least valuable person in the bullpen. And id like to say f*** you to our 3B coach one more time. Start the Fire Cox thread.

I can't wait till Rongey tries to defend Cox. Only a perfect throw would nail him by 20 feet like that. You tip your hat. LOL

Wassermann needs to go. I'm sure he'll be gone on Saturday.

Now this game is going to hell quickly....someone shoot Wass and put him out of his and our misery.

Wasserman needs to go back down. He sucks this year.

Please let this be the last game of Wassermann's White Sox career. We already have a righty specialist in Russell.

You want to be pissed off.....Dotel is warming up.

great move to the pen Ozzie

One thing, if the Sox scored a run or 2 or more in the 8th, no way we see Meat Wassermann in the 9th.

That's nonsense, or so the Cox defenders will tell you.

Wasn't a bad pitch at all IMO. Maggs went and got a low outside pitch. And if anybody noticed...our CF was playing WAY to the leftfield side on a low and outside pitch.

And that's why it was a bad pitch. My guess is that the plan was to pitch him in, not away.

I don't want to say the game was lost this inning but really it was...Wasserman absolutely sucks though. Nice substitution Oz. And not being able to jack Minor is ridiculous.

did you see where the catcher was set up?

To be honest, no. Was it outside or inside? The pitch before was in.

Cox strikes again.

IIRC, this is the second time in the past week. Most people would've taken JT's ridiculously slow half-jog to third as evidence that he probably wasn't going to make it. :wacko:

Please bring back Wavin' Wallace. At least he knew when to send runners.

That would be "moot." Unless you couldn't care less.

Sorry, grammatical pet peeves. Carry on...

Well at least we got the series but it would have been nice to kick them while they were down and swept them.
