In 2006 I saw him take batting practice at the Metrodome and he was hitting it farther than anyone else of the two teams, but he never hits homers in games it seems.

...and when he does the announcers usually talk about how dangerous he is and how he can do that in any given at-bat. If that's the case, why doesn't he homer in every at bat?
