Stop the freaking ball AJ! 6-5 now, as this has been a miserable defensive inning.

Thornton did his job there.

AJ is such an overrated baseball player IMO

if he knew he was out, why did he run lol

saw something similar to that happen in the 2005 ALCS

everytime thornton comes in with guys on base, runs score

it's unreal

He was out because if first base is occupied then hes automatically out. Completely diffrent than AJ's play.

Alright, we are still leading this one, let's get some runs.

Loaded for Mauer with 1 out in KC

AJ shouldn't be playing today after a night game, especially with the way he struggled last night.

You're defending Gavin??!!! Good for you Greg

I'm defending Ozzie. And most managers. If you have a starting pitcher and you trust him, you let him in to pitch deep into the ballgame and let him pitch out of trouble at the start of the sixth inning. If Gavin's going to be a good pitcher or we're going to trust him as a good pitcher there's no way to do that without letting the man pitch. Ozzie made the right move by far.

Good job by Thornton. It would be nice to get a few more runs, but Masterson seems to have some filthy stuff.

Yeah i hate when he comes in and K's a guy on third with one out, then our stupid catcher cant stop the ball.

Id let Thornton go in the 7th, but who gets the 8th to setup for Jenks?

Ramon pitching right now.

He made the right move for himself and for Gavin Floyd, who needs to be allowed to pitch. Ozzie made the right move for starting pitchers everywhere, in fact.

And with that said, go Sox.
