THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!

Featured Replies

Great post stretch. Their postseason flops frustrate me as well. That's why it was so cool in 05 when we got in we took care of business.

The Twins have a winning record against 3 of 13 AL teams

And yet they linger .5 games out and will do so until the end of the year. We're not too far under .500 at the dome in the past few years, but I'd rather play our last 3 anywhere else, including 3M, and hell. A lot of baseball boils down to stats, but a lot of it also ends up being mental, and this team with the season on the line against the Twins@the dome is the last thing I want to see. Although, a celebration in that wretched corner of the earth would be as sweet as anything.

Also worth noting, this was a win where we did not hit a homer.

The Twins are where they are because the White Sox have played .500 ball since the 4th of July.

And we've been with out a starting pitcher, our setup man and the starting 3B. It takes some time, at best, to overcome that. We may not, but don't throw in the towel now.

They also lost their gold glove CF'er, lost their Cy Young winning ace, have a spotty bullpen, and lost their starting RF'er in Michael Cuddyer.

But not as sweet as a clincher at the Cell.

I wasn't throwing in the towel just trying to bring the Twins back down to earth.

The first 2 dont count lol, they got draft picks for one and prospects for another. They lost Neshak who stunk this year and Cuddyer.
