the sox need to get their heads out of their asses and save some face and win this damn game.

This team quit tonight...hard to blame them.

jessie litsch = sidney ponson + bobby kielty love child

The White Sox hitter have officially given up. This defeatist attitude they're displaying is pretty f***ing sickening.

The worst thing is we're going to hear that Ozzie would have won his 3rd World Series ring this season if not for the injuries.

Jerry Owens is still on the team right?

It's not easy to lose a doubleheader at home. What a joke.

not even close to being the worst hitter among our every day regulars....

......... bring on the bears.........

I assume this team won't score another run in this game, hell if they could they'd give a few back, so through 6 games against the Blue Jays this season the Sox have scored 8 runs and have allowed 20. That's a recipe for success.

You still think Ozzie is an amazing manager after that first game?

i almost dont even mind the fact that KW has emptied the farm, because as of right now we have given up jack that has turned into above average major league talent or that looks like it will...

i mean our drafts havent even produced one regular with the exception of chris young over the past 6-7 years....thats awful

The problem is that good talent provides 2 purposes. One is as currency. Good prospects are like gold. Look at Miggy Cabrera. If we had some decent prospects, he would be on our team. The other is to provide a pool to call up to provide protection. Our protection however, is one crappy player after another.

We have no eye for talent and have selected safe, low ceiling players. We also do not instruct in the minor leagues. Our players come up, either ill prepared to function with basic baseball accumen, or with a long loopin swing.

Right now we are on the verge of some bad years, unless we take advantage in the next few years and draft well. Overslot is going to be our friend.

We need to use arbitration as well. We missed out on class A comp because we didnt offer arbitration to Riske. We need to offer it to Cabrera.

if toronto played in the central they'd be 3 games out, about to be 2.

They'd be 5 games up

Has it already been exactly 5 years from today of the Jose Paniaqua experience? How appropriate

I don't know what happened in the first game yet, but yes, I am an Ozzie backer. I think he's a great manager. But I am pissed that the worst possible scenario tonight has happened: KC laying over for Minnie and us dropping two.

They'd be a lot closer than that, since they'd get to play us more than 8 times.

You realize when Ozzie is presented with this type of situation, he will move towards the dink and dunk attack. Dont be surprised if Owens becomes our leadoff guy tomorrow.

Well, he did homer off of Halladay last year (my wedding night)

The over/under on baserunners allowed by Adam Russell is 3.5.
