I know the bassist for the Plain White Tees and a kid thats on X games all the time. Both are on my high schools wikipedia and I know on a personal level. My brother is a starving artist in LA and is friends with a guy that had a recurring role on the OC and the guy from the Burger King commercials that used to say "Im spicy"

Umm, you all know "me". Shouldn't that count, LOL.

I lived with the lead guitarist of Revis, back when they were called Orco.

 

 

It was a pretty neat experience, and I am thanked in the liner notes, which is pretty damn cool if you ask me

Well my mom got to know Clay Aiken at one point in time in working for his charity, and I believe they spoke on the phone a few times. My mom got to be very good friends with his mother.

 

My mom also appeared on Oprah, and Oprah sent a limo to our house to pick her up for the show. I wouldn't say she knows Oprah though.

Jenny McCarthy...

 

 

I met Jenny a couple of times while we were at SIU together back in the late 80's. She went out with a friend of mine a couple of times. Kind of like her MTV personality, she thought she was funnier than she actually was.

Depends on what you mean by 'know' and "famous", but I have met and hung out with many musicians. Some crash at my place when they come through town.

She is about the closest connection I have to anyone who is famous.

 

My mom's friend is good friends with her mother, who lives near us in Orland Park. I believe they grew up together. I was obsessed with Jenny when I was younger and actually met her at a benefit in Chicago. This was at the height of her popularity. Another occasion she left a message on my answering machine haha.

The only one I can think of that would know me right off the bat was the former lead guy on the Morning Fix on Q101, Alan Cox. We used to work together a long time ago.

 

Other than that...I have extended connections to author Dave Eggers, TV personality from Work Out, Zen Gray, and news people Jen Roscoe in Champaign, Steve Osunsami with ABC, and Kyung Lah with CNN.

I dont know anyone even remotely famous.
