I figured they were pitching around him. Oh well, I have no problem. Richard pitched a good game and the pen is horrible. After that double, its time to go to the pen though. It better be one of the big guys or MacD.

definitely a confidence builder. you could see he was very happy with himself even though he left tied and could possibly lose it.

if it was buerhle i could understand leaving him in ....but its the wrong move to leave the kid in, end of story...either way he did a hell of a job, but it wont matter if we cant get an out right here .....i hate macdougal here, he uses the outside of the plate almost exclusively...works to pudges advantage

The kid stepped up. But, why oh why when our pitchers do a good job our offesne struggles. Offense can manage only 5 hits off a guy with a 9.00 ERA coming into tonights game
