Williams was a 1st round talent though, although his back issues were a bit of a red flag to a lot of teams. Goser Chedillus (or whatever his name is), was considered a 2nd-3rd talent IIRC and they took him at 17, as a major need pick (and yet they gave Jeff Backus 7 years $40M).

 

But Angelo's drafting over the past couple of season hasn't exactly been stellar to say the least.
