yes i'm aware the phillies won against the brewers with homeruns today, but they do all of the other things right when facing a pitcher that they can't square up

 

Didn't the Phillies lead all of baseballs in walk this year? Also, they steal at a 90 pct clip. Even Werth was 20/21 stealing this year.

Garza might be finding himself in a predicament here soon, he can continue to throw fastballs but that might give our offense the ability to get their timing down, or he can throw more sliders but our guys seem to be able to handle that pitch (AJ's RBI single was on a slider)

How about a Roberts/Ramirez double play and 1-2 combo next year? However, I expect the Cubs to acquire Roberts.
