we gotta wait 6 months for meaningful games.

I would much rather have Dye at DH next year than Thome

Gonna get blasted for this, but we overachieved in my eyes and lost to a better team in the playoffs. No regrets.

I'll cry myself to sleep tonight than live on tomorrow.

The rays are clearly the better team. I'm happy with the performance this year. Just wish White Sox baseball wasn't about to be over for another 5 months.

Me too.

thought Konerko's fly had a chance.

As soon as the final out is recorded, I'm turning off the TV. I can't stand watching another team celebrate, especially on our field.

Is there any chance Contreras could be back healthy next year? It seems like no one talks about him anymore.

One more. I'd love a Griffey homer.

for a season that i had low, low expectations for, it really was a fun season and being at the tiebreaker game was a great memory.

fitting it comes down to griffey.

Hey Kenny, here's your boy recording the last out for our season

No.

How exactly does Jose's insurance policy work?

Liptak says he can't make a single start next year for the Sox or they're responsible for his entire contract.

I recall August being the earliest date for his return, so why push it? Chances are his replacement will be putting up similar numbers.

Did Reynolds just speculate that Griffey might retire this year?

or listening to harrold Reynolds...

Any of the 3 teams we could've faced would've been the better team against us. Again, we were fortunate that the Tigers and Indians imploded this year. That left the door wide open for a team that wasn't really all that to get into the playoffs.

Griffey is way late on the 95 mph fastball.
