The end to this game is turning out to be extremely interesting.

These Philly hitters have to stop thinking up the middle and getting guys over and that stuff. Lift and pull boys.

Tampa is just trying to give this game away.

I guess they are saving Price for game 6.

I have to admit, even though the series is possibly almost over, I've slowly been rooting more and more for the Phillies. I wouldn't be upset with either team winning, but there are plenty of guys (especially older guys) on the Phillies that I'd like to see win it all, while the Rays are mostly young and may have more chances in the future.

At least we can stop hearing for a while about how no Philadelphia team has won a title in any sport since the early 80's, and go back to focusing on who the world's truly great losing and suffering team is.

Lidge.

Lidge.

"I don't think that taste is there."

Man, if you'd have told me before this series that the Phillies would win 4 games to 1 I would have laughed in your face.

Zobrist to bat for Baldelli? Um, ok.

Tampa threatening in the ninth here.

Lidge is suffocating under that pile.

Weak ass celebration here.

That might be the most anti-climatic ending I have ever seen, and I was hoping for a Phillies win even.

Congrats to Phillies....fun team to watch during the season. I can't believe they were able to win after losing Rowand.

I'm so happy for the Philly Phanatic.

That is exactly what I just said. All that jumping on eachother. Then they got up and just stood there. Odd.

Quite the spear by Howard on that pile.

:lolhitting :lolhitting :lolhitting I was just going to post the same thing!!!

Baseball is over for another winter. This on field celebration is weak.

Shane Utley throwing devil horns after Hinske whiffed.

I love it!

:headbang

But...Buck just said "in the middle of the mayhem on the field"...surely Buck knows excitement when he sees it...right???

The best replay to an ending of any World Series game had to be....

*CRACK*

BA: Oh My God, dude!

Rowand: No way, No way, No, No way.....

Both: OOOOOHHHHH!!

What is strange is that for all the talent the Sox got from the Phillies over the last few years, not one player the Sox gave up had an impact in this World Series...

Almost like they won despite the fact they gave up Gio, Floyd, Thome.
