June 15, 200916 yr Ya, we saved our ace, but our rotation is young, a true sophmore and two freshman. They are all freaking good, but still, its the college world series. You guys are in great shape heading into game 2.

June 18, 200916 yr Arkansas and Virginia are playing a great game. A lot of missed chances for both sides, but entertaining nonetheless. My main complaint is that these games take an insane amount of time to be played.

They had so many chances with a guy on 3rd and less than 2 outs, and couldn't capitalize. Very frustrating... But, it was a good baseball game overall. Hopefully Leake will get another shot on Saturday. I could be wrong and Murph goes with Leake tonight. Don't think he should though. Kole Calhoun has been a friggin' best this CWS. You can tell he can't wait to get to the plate now. Maybe it was his interview with Erin Andrews? lol...

The kid hit well enough at ASU to make what he's doing in the CWS impressive, but not extraordinary, and he wasn't even drafted.
