February 10, 200917 yr QUOTE (ROC Sox Fan @ Feb 10, 2009 -> 05:25 PM) Getz following in Griffey and Erstad's footsteps... Doesn't have much to live up to. As long as he can be only a slightly below average major leaguer, he'll be an improvement. Edited February 10, 200917 yr by Felix

February 10, 200917 yr QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 10, 2009 -> 06:30 PM) Doesn't have much to live up to. As long as he can be only a slightly below average major leaguer, he'll be an improvement. If he has half the success Griffey did, we'll be golden.

February 11, 200917 yr lol in that list, Linebrink's number makes him look like he's fighting for a spot on the team. Uribe's old number is also gone. Edited February 11, 200917 yr by WilliamTell
February 11, 200917 yr QUOTE (Cali @ Feb 10, 2009 -> 05:37 PM) And...And.... Tony Graffanino! And Rafael Santana. 17 is a coveted number!
February 11, 200917 yr Slayer busting out 80. I would think they would give him a higher number, even though he won't make the team outta ST.
February 11, 200917 yr QUOTE (Heads22 @ Feb 10, 2009 -> 05:59 PM) 5 Jason Nix . . . 80 Gordon Beckham What is that, the 40 man plus invitees?

He saw me wearing a customized Barons jersey with the number 46 for the year and a half he was in B'ham.
February 11, 200917 yr QUOTE (GarlandFan20 @ Feb 10, 2009 -> 06:35 PM) And Rafael Santana. 17 is a coveted number! I miss Santana, he managed B'ham in 2007.
February 11, 200917 yr I'm surprised about Cole Armstrong, he's one of those crazy Canadians who has a preoccupation with 3's. Numbers 9, 33, 39, 48, in the past in the minors. Cole is a pimp though, he actually turned down Miss Alabama last year because he had a girlfriend.
