As I said Pittmann and Abrams would destroy.

We just let Abrams run wild on the perimeter, and it destroyed us in the end. It's a shame, especially since it could have been avoided if we actually played defense on him, but oh well. We'll be back next year and might win a few.

 

Good season, I'm glad we made the tournament despite the quick exit. This team is going to be fun to watch in these next few years.

Villanova is physically manhandling UCLA. This is hilarious. I hate to sound redundant. But again, how good is the Big East? I've never seen one conference with this much depth before in my life.

I still cant believe Wisconsin won.

 

Not that I thought they would lose before the game started, but when they were down 12 it looked pretty bleak.

And games like OSU/Sienna and Wisconsin/FSU are why the Big 10 gets the benefit of the doubt when it comes to being in the NCAA tournament. Big 10 games are usually competitive so it makes for good tv.

I picked Wisconsin, so I'm pretty pleased with their win. Despite that, I still wasn't rooting for them

I didn't really mean it that way, but he really does suck at coaching. Florida State has had talent for years and this is the first time they've come close to living up to it. Granted, they have a ton more talent than previous years, but I have 0 respect for Hamilton as a game coach.

+1. And I hate Wisconsin. But for some reason I always root for our conference in the tourney. Well, except Indiana. f*** that school.

I could never root for Wisconsin due to their style. I understand that a lot of Big 10 teams play this abominable style of running shot clock and not scoring points, but they take it to an extreme. I felt dirty rooting for Illinois at times this year even with as much as I've always liked them because of how slow and ugly they played to be honest, it's just terrible to watch and now how the game is meant to be played in my opinion.

I agree completely. At least when they had Harris or Tucker they had studs that were fun to watch. This team is horrifying to watch.

I have Pitt winning, but after 2 straight mediocre to bad performances, I'm not too confident about them over Xavier. Though Xavier doesn't rock my socks either.

I absolutely love the fact that the refs are calling every little ticky tack foul on Duke. Beautiful.

Predicting what Duke is going to do in the tourney is becoming too easy of late. Did anybody outside of a Duke fan expect anything less than what we saw tonight? They get exposed every year by physical/athletic teams.
