I've been saying this since the argument started years ago.

 

So in their opening series, the Sox get their offense looks pathetic and gets shut down completely by KC. Nice start to the season.

He clearly had no control of the ball whether it was on the exchange or not. He was trying to grab at something that was not there. I would understand if the ball was firmly in the glove and he dropped it, the ball was bobbling around in the mitt erratically.

 

That's on the rule book.
