But he is pitching. That's something.

pavano down 2-0 in the first, still no outs

What? I thought the Indians were a lock for the division.

Aviles flies out, three down.

True. I'm not worried about it.

Pavano has given up 5 runs so far and only recorded one out.

Go Brandon McCarthy!!!

Get used to it for this year. I think we will see some really good plays and then errorrs on some easy plays

McCarthy looks real good so far. Struck out the side in the first.

davis aced him on the corner....JD got the call

what a catch

gREAT play by dejesus

DeJesus robs Dye of a base hit with a fantastic diving catch.

It's a good thing that the Royals have Ponson and Ramirez at the backend of their rotation.

To be fair, that wasn't as easy play. But I know what you mean.

Paulie singles with one out.

Alright, Paulie. Nice to see that you're still alive.

That has always been his problem. He's made great plays before, but boots easy ones or will air mail a throw. He's kind of a less rangy 3B version of Jose Valentin. That's why I think expecting him to be Brooks Robinson after a couple of weekends of Joey Cora hitting him grounders is crazy. On opening day, he airmailed a throw to first warming up in the first, but made a perfect throw to get a runner at home off balanced.

Alexei flies out, two down.
