BA has seen 8 pitches, all balls. He has 2 BB.

dweezy hadnt had a walk this yaer or in spring training...i feel bad for a guy who was a career minor leaguer and finally got his shot, but i think this is gonna be for the better

Maybe BA takes this opportunity and runs with it. Last year, Owens got hurt and it was a blessing for the Sox. Hopefully, deja vu.

BA has the talent he just needs to put it all out there

Fields is due for a long ball

About how long does a separated shoulder keep you out?

Jose's training regime would have him back out there in a week, by the way...

Brian with another SB.

BA with some good AB's tonight

Anderson with his second steal of the day

It strikes me that a separated shoulder isn't just 15 days or so. I could be wrong.

Depends on the severity. I know with hockey it's often a 1-2 week thing, but they arent using their shoulder the way baseball players do.

BA with a 2nd SB... Good to see

Would be nice to see BA finally seize the opportunity and perform on an everyday basis (v. lefty and righty) and Wise get healthy enough to come back within a few weeks and be a valuable guy off the bench, like he is meant to be. Dare to dream.

Fields is due for a long ball

He's really been focused on RF, something I've never seen from him before. Maybe he's working on keeping his head on the ball longer, then maybe start airing it out.

apparently our guys dont like that fastball right down the middle with 2 strikes

Wise going out seems to of lit a fire under BA's ass.

BA with 2 stolen bases today. Who does he think he is? Grady Sizemore?

Not a good day for Lillibridge.

Meanwhile, Anderson is a beast on the basepaths ha

That was a solid 3-4 inches inside.

This umpire kinda sucks.

the one to lillibridge looked in to me, but i thoguht the one to fields was a good strike right there

Let's make this easy gents.

Lillibridge's 1-6 is an improvement from the leadoff spot. Now 2-27 on the year.

1, 2, 3 Linebrink please.
