Well there you go, the US government has recognized Texas a nation... Now they have precidence!

First off, when we secede, we ought to use the 1845 map. ;)

We already have a pledge that school kids recite each day after the US Pledge of Allegiance

 

"Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible."

 

And anthem

I know it is difficult for people from lesser states to understand the pride that comes from being a Texan. :lol:

That type of pride is only rivaled by late 1930's Germany. ;)
