Damn, pretty weak swing by Fields.

Damn it. Ugh.

What a horrible game.

Hope that is the last time we get Buckner. he was awful both ways.

This one's all on Matt. We're not gonna say that much.

this ball-game is ovah

what a crock of s***, alexei's at-bat has me furious, what a stupid swing

why the f*** would you swing at something above your god damn head, it's obviously not a f***ing strike, get a clue

and in typical White Sox fashion, we build something exciting only to see it end in a very anti-climatic way.

Fields needs to shorten up here and drive this ball to the right side and get that tying run in.

he tried

BTW, Alexei's OPS is around .350

Yep, I actually thought that was one of the best managed games of Ozzie's career.

maybe we'll see Beckham soon

yeah right, that makes too much sense

We won a game we should have lost and lost a game we should have won. Lets take the next two.

So, we lost by one in a game that CB literally gave Pena a second chance and he hit a homer. Also, whoever is in charge of defensive position really f'd up on Burrell's AB in the 6th. With Colon throwing everything on the outer half to righties, you can't have Getz playing up the middle.

Well, we had no business winning yesterday, so I guess tonight's loss was just karmic retribution.

I think people are bailing on Alexei a bit soon. Yeah he looks lost, maybe he needs to sit a few games and maybe Betemit should get a few more starts here and there. But if I recall, didn't he look lost last April?

But at least we got to hear Hawk say, "The cheese is a little more binding."

There's no reason for him to be looking as clueless as he does right now. Slumping is one thing but Alexei is well beyond slumping.

Thank you. I am getting sick of people jumping ship and saying he was a fluke. Give him a chance, yeah he's been awful, but we're only 10 games into the season. If he throws up a week like you know he can his numbers will come back to the norm. Give it some more time before calling for his head.

He def. needs some extra BP and video work, if nothing else. it's time for some days off. You don't trade for Betemit to not use him tomorrow.

Not even close to calling for his head. Just think he needs to sit for a day.

I agree 100%. He looks awful and needs a few days to get his head together. Take some BP, look at video. Realize that they are going to throw him a steady diet of breaking balls and offspeed stuff, especially early on in the count.

The problem with this board is that when we lose everything is put under a microscope and blown out of proportion. First off, Matt Thornton and the Ump's crappy zone lost us that game.

He needs to shorten his swing...he isn't close to hitting it on the barrel.

didn't we out hit them like 14-4? No business?
