yeah i know. i'm sure he's just taking orders. i really hate that he ALWAYS finds it necessary to 1) have sunday lineups and 2) do the beautiful outfield alignment you're speaking of. Why can't we space out when we get our bench guys some playing time. It's games like today's that you SHOULD go all out to win because they're easier ones and we need all the wins we can.

But Quentin's natural position is RF right? I feel like Ozzie/Joey HAS to know this. Are they just afraid to put him out there for a game because they think he'll be uncomfortable out there (since he's so used to left now)? If thats true, thats a load of crap. I understand the need for him in left when JD is playing, but playing Pods in center (ha!) and BA in right is a joke.

You don't want to be switching Quentin from LF to RF, especially when he's struggling. His natural spot might be RF, but he's been getting adjusted to LF for over a year now.

 

I think you only move Quentin to RF if you are serious about keeping him there.

I'm alright with it, in so much as I don't want Pods' noodly arm in right.

Heh 32 lineups in 42 games.

What is with our obsession with putting Fields in the lineup? Let Nix get some playing time. He's shown far more to me this year than Fields has.

Man, Buehrle's home ERA would be 0.15 if he played at PETCO.
